ZLIN AIRCRAFT a.s. gives a new dimension to the Czech aviation
Thanks to a very unique project of ZLIN AIRCRAFT a.s. the Czech aviation moves into another dimension.
On Monday 12th August 2013 at 8:45 p.m. CET: ZLIN Z 143 LSi, with the installation of infrared camera system and auxiliary tank, took off from the airport Otrokovice (LKOT), Czech republic for the endurance flight.
The entire flight was performed under the control of ATC and lasted 13 hours and 13 minutes. The aircraft with registration OK-ICU landed on the runway on Tuesday, 13 August 2013 shortly before ten o´clock CET. ZLIN Z 143 LSi with the installation of auxiliary fuel tank can fly without necessity of landing more than 14 hours moreover with an average consumption of 33 litres.
The chief of this unique flight was not anyone else than the legend of Czech Sport Aviation, Ing. Jiří Kobrle, which significantly contributes to the development of ZLIN AIRCRAFT a.s.
