Best new supplier to GE Aviation Czech - award goes to ZLIN AIRCRAFT

ZLIN AIRCRAFT has become a proud holder of "Best new Supplier to GE Aviation Czech" award in recent days. GE Aviation is an innovative manufacturer of turboprop engines and aviation components. The award appreciates an excellent start of the co-operation between both companies during 2011.

ZLIN AIRCRAFT and GE Aviation Czech have been co-operating in manufacturing and implementation of components for aviation engines. "We feel really honored to be among the top suppliers of the GE Aviation Czech. We are happy about positive progress and level of co-operation. The award confirms that we are heading in the right direction. Of course it is also a commitment to further improvement of our work and innovation," stated Jiri Tutter, consultant for business development of ZLIN AIRCRAFT. He added that ZLIN AIRCRAFT is prepared and fully certified for both, manufacture of aviation components as well as any other required co-operation.

The company´s representatives took over the award on the occasion of the first conference "GEAC Supplier Day", which took place at the GEA facilities in Praha-Letňany. The purpose of the conference was to mutually inform about the production plans, expectations, requirements of the customers, exchange of experiences and relationship building between suppliers and manufacturer.

In 2008 GE Aviation bought the majority in Walter Engines, which was a Czech company with more than 90-year long tradition in aviation manufacturing. This acquisition was a base for a new daughter company, which focuses on design, production and servicing of turboprop engines.
