The all-metal ZLIN Z 143 LSi GENIUS is a multi-purpose training and courier airplane. With its capabilities it is superior to all other similar competitors. It allows full and safe use of its exceptional technical and flight capabilities. Designed for continued flight training, night and IFR training flights, air patrolling, rescue flights and courier service.

 

AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE

 

Unique all-metal riveted body. The main beam of the central wing is furnished with nitrogen overpressure control. The landing gear is also designed to operate on unpaved runways. The aircraft can be fitted with a digital system according to customers’ requirements.

The low-wing airplane concept and canopy construction allow unlimited and excellent visibility thanks to non-replicable construction solutions. It is an advantage during flight operations, when landing, taxiing, and in the event of an emergency exit from the cockpit.

The safe-life system is used to monitor and evaluate the lifetime of the airplane. This exceeds 20,000 flight hours.


 

 

 

ENGINE

 


The American Textron Lycoming injection engine, coupled with a constant speed propeller, excellent airplane flight characteristics, and precise and responsive control, allows for various training activities and maneuvers to be executed.
 
The powerful engine allows for all requirements to be met, particularly when training new pilots. Engine operating time at maximum revolutions is unlimited.
 
The MTV-9-B /195-45 three-blade composite propeller is hydraulically adjustable with constant speed.
  • 235 HP at 2400rpm
  • 35 litres per hour in economical mode



GARMIN AVIONICS

 


The Garmin G500 multifunctional avionics modified for the ZLIN Z 143 LSi GENIUS integrates all essential flight and engine instruments into digital screens.

The 3D terrain viewing feature is an invaluable tool. The system, coupled with autopilot, is set for maximum use and intuitive control. It allows pilots to gain a unique view of the situation and thus increase crew safety.

Complex data is collected in real-time and displayed on two adjustable, large, high-resolution screens. 



 

 

OPTOELECTRONIC DEVICES


 

 Upon request, we can install a FLIR camera or other digital suspension system on the ZLIN Z 143 LSi GENIUS for aerial monitoring, search and rescue missions.

 

 



 

AIRCRAFT INTERIOR

 


The spatially exceptional design of the all-glass canopy allows a perfect overview of what is happening around the aircraft. The canopy opens reliably in all situations in a simple forward motion. It is equipped with a stopping mechanism and an emergency jettison system.

The layout of the control elements and instruments contributes to the comfort of the crew. The training aircraft can be controlled from both pilot seats independently.
 
Ergonomically precisely shaped and adjustable seats are a must component of a ZLIN aircraft today.
 
The interior layout allows easy reconfiguration from a four-seater to two-seater with an additional fuel tank. Sufficient luggage space is also available..
